Dining in Kalamazoo

Kalamazoo is home to a wide range of diversions, from the Air Zoo to the Arcadia Creek Festival Place and much, much more. History, culture, art and theatre all combine here to create an incredible experience for residents and visitors alike.

However, with all there is to see and do, there is no doubt that you’ll find yourself experiencing the pangs of hunger. Thankfully, Kalamazoo restaurants abound and can help you satisfy the urge for almost any type of cuisine you might crave.

The city is home to a number of unique dining options. However, one of the most innovative is Food Dance in Kalamazoo. What is Food Dance, you might be wondering? Simply put, this restaurant one of the oldest options within the downtown area. In addition, the café focuses on using only locally produced ingredients. Every culinary option here is handmade from local foodstuffs, ensuring that you have the healthiest, tastiest food possible.

Of course, there are quite a few other options to tempt your palate. For example, for a great family meal, you might enjoy Bilbo’s Pizza in a Pan, traditional Bimbo's Pizza or maybe Erbellis Pizza.   If you are in the mood for a bit of pub grub, you can check out Fletcher’s Pub, or Main Street Pub. North 11 and Shakespeare’s Pub are also popular places, while The Hangar Bar & Grill is yet another delightful option.

If you are in the mood for a bit of upscale dining, then a trip to Martell's, Zazio’s or Fandango Tapas Bistro is in the works. For seafood and steak, you should make certain that you check out the Great Lakes Shipping Co., Webster’s Prime or Wild Bull Saloon & Steakpit. The city is also home to a myriad of worldwide cusine including Mediterranean options, such as Ouzos, Italian choices such as Mangia Mangia and Comensoli’s Italian Bistro.  Spice things up with Mexican food from El Gallo Blanco or Mi Pueblo Mexican Restaurant.  Or enjoy the exotic flavors of Thai at Bangkok Flavor, sushi at Maru Sushi & Grill, or chinese at Hunan Gardens.  And I would be totally remiss if I didn't mention Central City Tap House and their outstanding selection of beers!!

As you can see, no matter what might tantalize your taste buds, you can find it within Kalamazoo. You will discover that many of these options are located centrally, in the downtown area, as well as throughout the greater city area.
