We are excited to invite you to the Inaugural Health Equity Summit at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. This summit is an opportunity for students, educators, and community members to come together to discuss issues impacting health equity in our communities, and to develop strategies to mitigate health disparities. It is an opportunity for us to connect with one another, empower each other to work toward meaningful change, and educate each other on the issues in our communities and the mitigation strategies that are seeing success.

Submit an abstract for Poster/Oral presentation:
We are currently accepting abstracts for poster and oral TedTalk-Style presentations (8 minute) from Medical Students across the region for the 2018 Health Equity Summit, until June 14th. Student presentations will be in the afternoon on Saturday June 30th, at the Downtown Kalamazoo Upjohn Campus location. Poster abstracts submitted prior to June 10th may be eligible for sponsored poster printing. Please limit abstract length to 500 words.
